There
are three 5th Grade classes at St. Margaret Mary.
Each class
may contain up to 28 students.

The
reading curriculum expands
basic reading into higher levels.

The math
curriculum continues to develop skills in complex arithmetic, word
problems, fractions, decimals, geometry, and measurement.

Students
eat lunch in the main cafeteria, and have one main recess after lunch.

Students
attend all school masses and - about once a month - mass in the St.
Margaret Mary Chapel.

Students
participate in all exploratory classes: computer, library, PE, prayer
music, and Spanish. These are graded Satisfactory (S) / Needs Improvement
(N) all year.

Students
receive letter grades in all subjects.

Conduct
is graded on a scale of E (Excellent), S (Satisfactory), N (Needs
Improvement), U (Unsatisfactory).

Students
take the Stanford Achievement Tests (SAT) in April.
