There
are three 4th Grade classes at St. Margaret Mary.
Each class
may contain up to 28 students.

The
reading curriculum expands
basic reading into higher levels.

The
religion curriculum emphasizes learning more about sacraments, the liturgical years, the marks of the
church, and how to incorporate Jesus into our daily lives.

The
math curriculum expands to
more complex arithmetic, word problems, fractions, decimals, geometry, and
measurement.

Students eat lunch at the main
cafeteria with the 5th grade, and have one outside recess after
lunch.

Students attend
school masses and - about once a month - mass in the St. Margaret Mary chapel.

Students participate in all
exploratory classes: computer, library,
PE, prayer music, and Spanish. These are graded Satisfactory
(S) / Needs improvement (N) all year.

Students
receive letter grades in all subjects.

Conduct is
graded on a scale of E (Excellent), S (Satisfactory), N (Needs
improvement), U (Unsatisfactory).

Students
take the Stanford
Achievement Tests (SAT) in April.
