There are three Kindergarten classes at St. Margaret Mary. Each class may contain up to 28 students and each teacher has a full-time Teacher's Assistant. 

• The curriculum expands letter and number recognition into basic reading and arithmetic. 

• A religion curriculum is included, with emphasis on prayers.

• Students take a daily nap and enjoy 1 outside recess.

• Students eat lunch at the main cafeteria with Pre-K and 1st Grade students.

• Students participate in all exploratory classes: computer, library, PE, prayer music, and Spanish. 

• Students attend monthly school mass and - about once a month - mass in the St. Margaret Mary chapel. 

• In lieu of grades, a checklist - which is a breakdown of subjects and development areas - is completed for each student four times per year.
