Our Pre-Kindergarten Program is a developmentally appropriate and nurturing program for four-year olds.  We offer a first-class facility, just completed in Feb. 08, designed especially to meet the needs of young children.  Our playground is exceptionally spacious and filled with new and various types of equipment.  We currently have 3 classes with 22 children in each class, taught by certified teachers and full-time teaching assistants.  Our program is a five-day, full-time program, with before and after care available each day. 

• Our reading curriculum emphasizes letter and sound recognition, using many creative and fun activities. 

• Our math curriculum covers shapes, numbers 1 – 10, patterns and spatial concepts.

• Religion is taught daily and emphasizes all of God’s creation, liturgical seasons, Christian behavior, and prayer. Pre-K students attend some class Masses throughout the year.

• Lunch is eaten in the classroom.  Students must provide their own lunch.

• Students enjoy a daily nap or quiet rest time each day.

• Each week, we have arts and craft activities and a 30-minute session with our music teacher.

• The daily schedule includes structured and unstructured activities, with imaginative and hands-on play.

• Students are assessed at the end of each quarter and receive a skills checklist marking their developmental progress.
