Gail Marcks graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.S. of Science in Elementary Education. She taught grades K-5 in Illinois, both regular education students and gifted/talented students. Since moving to Louisiana 7 years ago, she has been substituting in grades K-6. She lives in Mandeville with her husband and her 2 teenage daughters. Teaching is her passion and she really believes that ALL children can learn! She feels privileged to be a part of SMM this year and use her gift of teaching that God has blessed her with! She looks forward to guiding her students academically, emotionally, and spiritually. She feels very blessed to have the opportunity to help her second grade students prepare for First Communion and Reconciliation.
