I received a BA degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and completed the State Alternative Teacher Education Program from University of New Orleans. In 1989, I began teaching at St. Louise de Marillac in Arabi and remained there for 12 years. At St. Louise, I was honored with the Teacher of the Year Award.
In 2001, I moved to the Northshore from St. Bernard and started my teacher career at St. Margaret Mary. For the first three years, I was the Cheerleading moderator for the Chargers. Now, I am the National Junior Honor Society co-moderator and coordinate the Junior Elks Teen of the Month Program. St. Margaret Mary is such a warm, close community and I am so happy to be a part of this environment. The children, the faculty, and the staff are incredible.
On a personal note, I have been married to Timothy since 1981. We have two beautiful daughters. Both have attended Catholic schools since pre-K to high school. They are graduates of Cabrini High School. I truly believe in the importance of Catholic education.
