Anna Meyers graduated from Loyola University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education.  She began teaching fourth grade as St. Mark School in Chalmette and remained there until August, 2005.  During her time at St. Mark, Mrs. Meyers was honored with the Teacher of the Year Award and also served as Flag Team Moderator for seven years.  Last year, as a result of Hurricane Katrina, Mrs. Meyers and her family relocated to Pearl River, LA, and she began teaching third grade at St. Margaret Mary.  Mrs. Meyers is currently in her fifteenth year of teaching (her second year in third grade at SMM) and is also serving as co-moderator of student council.

 "I was not just seeking a job when I began at SMM, but a new family.  I believe that God lead me to SMM where I am now part of a whole new family.  I feel that I have been truly blessed and am very grateful to be teaching your child(ren).  Teaching children each day is a joyous gift from God and I am thankful for that each and everyday."
