I have a B.A. in Secondary Education and a M.Ed. in Counseling from the University of New Orleans. I joined the St. Margaret Mary family as a teacher in 1976. I taught Social Studies and coached volleyball, basketball and cabbage ball.
Over the years, I have also been a moderator for many activities. Some of those have included cheerleading, student council, yearbook, the school play, and the talent show.
Although I no longer coach or teach Social Studies, I am currently the moderator of Academic games and co-moderator of the National Junior Honor Society. I also do many activities with the students to build self-esteem, peer relationships, and help with academic success.
